Influenced by the UK superclub scene of the mid-1990s, JVS serves up a double dose of piano house in this EP. Blacknote brings the sound kicking and screaming into the 2010s with bouncy synths and crisp EDM beats, adding disco string stabs and vocal hits to hype up the crowd and rock that dancefloor. Retaining more of the 1990s vibe, Whitenote features the classic combination of piano chords and strings, adding contemporary deep house rhythms to give that modern day edge.
